Guitar Lab VST, which has been released by Studio Trap Sounds, is a guitar VST rompler, a simplified sample-based virtual guitar premium VST plugin, which has been designed for modern hip-hop and trap music producers in general.Unlike some of the other premium VST plugins, this one is fairly cheap to obtain, but then again, it lacks when it comes to advanced features such as looping strum patterns or chord patterns, making this a generic VST plugin.Since there are no strumming features and chord patterns, this is quite a simple VST plugin, but it has some decent and nice sound output signal, which kind of makes up for this indeed.Do not expect realistic guitar sound output with this one, but instead expect modern and standard hip-hop and trap-style guitar sounds. Yes, this is a sampled VST plugin, which is processed within its chain of effects, making some of the guitar sound signal output perfect for modern music producers!This is great for someone who wants to play a guitar within a DAW using their MIDI keyboard.

VST Rating for Guitar Lab V
This is a virtual guitar (rompler) VST, making this not a realistic but a synthetic style of guitar VST plugin. Since it's been designed for hip-hop and trap music producers, we give it a solid 7 since the sound quality is decent for modern-style music and quite often heard within mainstream music.
When it comes to features, based on other premium guitar VST instruments, this one does not include loops or chords; it only comes with 1 style of processing and delivers 1 single note at each press. Of course, this can be modulated with the delay features this plugin comes with, but it will always sound modernized and exclude all the features a real guitar instrument provides.
The layout of the VST plugin is simple and easy to use, there ain't much to explain here, since this plugin is quite simple, each modulation is sectioned within its section on the actual VST, making this a generic and easy to use VST plugin.
We give this a solid 6 when it comes to performance; in fact, we would have rated this 4 out of 10, but since the effects and sampled guitar sound so lovely and perfect for hip-hop and trap producers, we gave it a 6 out of 10. It's a shame this plugin doesn't have extra looping features, guitar looping presets, chord presets and extra functions; it would have got a solid 9 if it did!
This plugin is extremely cheap for what you get; it's priced very well, and the fact that it comes with 28 different guitar presets, which have mainly been designed for hip-hop and trap music producers, is simply perfect!
