This plugin comes with tonnes of modulations and settings, making this an ideal plugin for all types of music producers and sound designers, although the common phrases and style phrases do take up loads of MIDI keyboards space, so anyone using this would require a larger keyboard than your standard MIDI to fully operate this plugin. We used a standard 49-key MIDI keyboard and needed a large MIDI with at least 61 (white) keys. So we give this a solid 7 out of 10; otherwise this plugin would have received a solid 9 out of 10 if the design and development behind the support for smaller MIDI keyboards were supported, which is a bit of a shame to be honest!

VST Ease of Use

Comes with standard guitar-style modulations, a few unique effects and unique modulations; the layout is simple to understand when it comes to using this VST plugin. Quite straightforward; we give it a solid 7 out of 10 since this plugin is not hard to use and not easy! Perfectly designed and perfectly spaced-out modulations make it easy to use.

Again, we give this plugin a solid 7 when it comes to performance since the guitar sound textures are perfect and correctly provide that cinematic guitar feel, it comes with tonnes of features, and the sound quality is simply perfect. Some of the effects are quite muddy or over-textured, but this can be adapted with personalized settings. Also, this plugin consumes 2GB of RAM when being used; that's quite high compared to any other guitar VST plugins, which typically use around 300 to 500MB of RAM. Saying that, the sound quality makes up for the extra RAM being used, which is why I give this Ujam plugin a solid 7!

VST Value

6/10

This textured virtual guitar instrument comes at a standard value when it comes to pricing; it doesn't seem overpriced or cheap, so we give it a solid 6 out of 10. Then again, Ujam is well known for running many promotions during the year, making this plugin much cheaper to obtain, which is very handy.
