When it comes to realistic guitar, Music-Lab has done a great job on providing a highly realistic guitar VST plugin which has been sampled so well; in fact, each guitar note has been individually recorded, with multiple layers for more of a dynamic expression when notes are triggered.

Built with 4 different modes, again this has been seen before with guitar VST plugins, such as Strum GS-2 Guitar VST. But this VST plugin has taken this a step further and beyond.

This plugin is based on a DSP modelling system and comes with loads of built-in effects and modulations, making this a perfect (steel/acoustic) guitar for anyone who's looking to produce and compose some realistic-sounding guitar signal output.

The unique feature which we like about this VST is the fact that we have built in loads of key switches which can be triggered with any selected piano note, selected manually in the settings of the VST plugin.

- It comes in 4 different modes: MIDI, multi, pattern and song mode. Now, each of these modes will provide different sound feedback when the MIDI keyboard is pressed.
- MIDI mode enables solo, harmony, chords, bass 'n' chords and bass 'n' pick selection; each of these will provide different sound outputs.
- Solo mode enables chords, with the possibility to adjust between 5 different chord positions.
- Pattern enables the users to select a pre-built pattern, which can be selected from their preset library, and it comes in solo, harmony, chords, bass 'n' chords and bass 'n' pick selections also, making this quite an advanced guitar VST overall.
- Song mode enables users to simply drag and drop different generated patterns within the preset browser straight into the piano roll canvas within the plugin's UI and then add multiple patterns, syncing them with tempo and meter functions.
- Easy to use and quite straightforward.
- This plugin comes with around 2000 different and instant chord shapes.
- Each note has been sampled over 30 times! To provide a realistic sound output no matter what modulation is selected and tigers are used, this plugin is highly versatile!

Also, there's just so much to write about this VST plugin; it comes with so many different functions and presets. It's loaded with so many different great modulations that we could simply write 5000 words on this VST plugin! YES! It's a highly advanced VST!

What we really like about this plugin is the fact that it has built-in effects and extra modulations which are located at the top of the plugin's menu bars, all laid out nicely.

- It provides features to tune the guitar to a specific need with ease.
- Keyboard range setup settings, which are easy to edit.
- The velocity option, which enables users to create their own custom curve for velocity output sound signal processing.
- Strum timing and release time, which are great for normalization and humanization effects, to make the guitar sound more realistic and towards specific needs.
- Mixer which provides modulations for noises (fret, release and pick) and sounds (mute strum, slow strum, solo/strings and switch FX).
- FX mixer with more mute and harmonics options.
- Built-in tremolo and chorus FX with 6 different modulations.
- Built-in advanced reverb effects to mimic a nice ambient room, giving a nice spatial effect to the guitar sound output itself.

Yes! This guitar plugin is very impressive! The rhythm patterns within this plugin are well over 1200 different patterns, with easy-to-select sub-genres and styles.

We give this guitar VST plugin a solid 10 out of 10. This is a very high-quality VST with loads of great functions and modulations! And the realism of playing a guitar within a virtual instrument is quite phenomenal; then again, the developers record over 30 different samples for each guitar note, which simply explains it all!

VST Features

We give this plugin a solid 9 out of 10. When it comes to features, it's packed with so many, and the presets are easy to use. There are thousands of different patterns and strums, and the ability to switch between chords has been extended with 3 more options (as explained above) to any regular guitar VST plugin. This one earns its 9! Shame this plugin is not GUI resizable, otherwise it would have earned a big solid 10 out of 10!

VST Ease of Use

7/10

When it comes to options and guitar sound signal output, GUI and modulations, this plugin is not easy to use and not hard to use, but on the safer side of easy, of course, for anyone who understands VST plugin modulations and what they generally do. We like how everything is laid out and looks highly advanced, but everything works together, and it all makes sense! Might take some time getting used to this plugin, though.

The CPU and RAM this plugin consumes is very minimal for the quality it provides. This simply shows the development stage of this plugin was very well-thought-out and performs very well, and we give it a solid 9 out of 10!

VST Value

This plugin may seem quite expensive, but when all the features and modulations are taken into effect, this plugin has been priced very well and perfectly. We can't imagine how long it must have taken to record 30 different samples of each guitar string, so we give this a solid 8 out of 10! This is the first time we have seen a guitar VST plugin which has simply surpassed our expectations. Huge congrats to the developers behind this amazing guitar VST plugin!
